I am very pro-hemp. In Germany, a local restaurant actually served hemp-based food. Seeing as how my parents work/worked at a pulp and paper company, I know how much trouble the paper industry is getting itself into; so, I really don’t understand why the U.S. doesn’t switch to hemp.
What kind of sense does it make that all the hemp products in the United States are imported or the raw materials were? Why can’t the government see the profits that we are missing out on (if it is indeed money that they is their greater concern)?

OK, I’ll stop now.
